raise funds for local community
projects. Since our founding
in 1981, the
 Fairfield Christmas
Tree Festival has touched the
lives of  tens of thousands of
our  neighbors by donating
more than three million dollars
to local charities. We are proud

Each year the Burr Homestead is transformed into a Holiday Showcase! During the Festival, there will be photos with Santa, custom-created live wreaths, a holiday gift boutique, Hot Cider, designer decorated rooms and exquisite trees and wreaths for sale.

Snowflake Preview Gala

A CELEBRATION of the INDIVIDUAL SPIRIT

Thursday, December 5th     6:30 – 9:30 pm
$150 per person
Gala Attendees will have the chance of a “first look” & shop inside the Burr Mansion featuring beautifully decorated showcase rooms filled with wonderful items to purchase for the Christmas Season. Inside the tent, snowflakes welcome the season with fabulous food stations, music performed by Christine Tambakis from Twisted Vine, and an open bar sponsored by Pernod Ricard Distributors.  RIPE Bar Juice will have a  mixologist preparing incredible drinks with their mixers. To get ready for the season of giving, the Gala will also offer a silent auction brimming with packages made to delight everyone on your list. There will also be a champagne “take-a-chance” to win jewelry donated by Henry C. Reid & Son Jewelers and a Giving Tree with hand-made ornaments created by clients of The Kennedy Center. Tickets to this event, sponsored by Moffly Media, begin at $150 per person.
Winter Wonderland  The Annual Children’s Event~Family Dinner

A CELEBRATION OF WONDER

$20 per adult, $10 per child, 3 yrs and under~ free
the Festival's Annual Children's Event called "Winter Wonderland" which is a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season for the entire family.  There are many fun and exciting activities for the children including, face painting, a magician, and the St. Thomas Children’s Choir singing Christmas carols throughout the evening as well as a surprise visit from Santa. Guests will enjoy a pasta dinner provided by A&S Italian Deli, desserts from Billy's Bakery and the Pantry and ice cream treats from Sunny Daes.  There will also be a special drawing for a prize that would thrill any child. The event is followed by an old fashioned Christmas stroll to watch the annual tree lighting at the Fairfield Town Hall.  
Christmas Island Party

A CELEBRATION OF MUSIC & DANCE

Saturday, December 7th    7:00 – 10:00 pm

$75 per person

The Christmas Island Party is sponsored by Serendipity Magazine.  Partygoers will dance to Jimmy Buffet-inspired music performed by Band Together and enjoy a light dinner of taco/slider/salsa food stations with a margarita bar, mixers and rum punch provided by RIPE Juice bar, and wine and beer provided by Two Roads Brewing Company. Attendees can also take-a-chance to win high-end handbags and shoes for both men and women.


PJ’s, Pancakes & Penguins! Family Holiday Breakfast

Bring the kids in their pajamas and come and feast on stacks of delicious pancakes (parents, you can come in your PJ’s too).

The Kennedy Center Art Therapy Dept. is putting together the children’s corner and activities will be built around a “penguin” theme. They have an incredible storyteller who will read “Little Penguin’s Tale”, during which they will also have someone providing sign language. They will be making penguins for the arts and crafts project, our music therapist will be playing the ukulele and singing a variety of holiday songs and our creative dance instructor will do an interactive dance to the “Happy Feet” song.
This event features pancakes provided by Chips’s Restaurant. Breakfast also includes sausage, bacon, coffee, Bigelow Tea, hot chocolate and juice. There is also an opportunity to take-a-chance to win baskets for children and families.
